At Dmitri's Shoe & Leather Repair, we provide a variety of high quality services that are sure to meet your needs
Shoe repair
Any problems you have with your footwear, we can fix. We offer sole and heel replacements, adhesive repair, stitching, patching, polishing, and restoration. We can also make alterations to your footwear such as stretching to slightly increase the size of your shoe, adding orthopedic buildups according to prescription, or dying with different colors.
Leather work
Aside from footwear, we can help out with any leather products you may have issues with. We can do strap replacements, stitching, full-body restorations, zipper and buckle work, and more. Whether it be handbags, purses, wallets, coats, jackets, or sports equipment, we can help.
Key, knives, and scissor sharpening
We also do key cutting along with knife, scissor, and gardening tool sharpening. So if you need some keys copied or to freshen up your knives, we got you covered. Additionally, we can create custom built, made to order sheaths specifically designed for your knife.
Products
Besides our services, we offer a selection of footwear such as Biotime sandals and orthopedic shoes, Laurentian Chief moccasins and indigenous-style fur lined slippers, Canada West boots, etc. In addition, we also provide a plethora of shoe care products from renowned brands like Urad, Sapphire, M&B, Volant James, and more. Products include polish, sprays, brushes, protective sprays, conditioners, softeners, and balms, for all types of materials.

Dmitri’s Shoe & Leather Repair is a small, family-rooted shop proudly serving Stratford and surrounding area for two decades. Our owner Dmitri brings third-generation European shoe repair and leatherworking skills learned through a lifetime of tradition, patience, and hands-on craftsmanship.
Every item that comes through our door is treated with care and respect. We believe quality repair is also sustainable craftsmanship. By repairing instead of replacing, we help reduce waste while using durable materials and eco-conscious practices whenever possible.
